"When you’re financially responsible." That’s when my parents told me I can keep my own money. Every week they took it from me to make sure that I didn’t spend it on unnecessary things. So senior year in HS, I opened a bank account to show them I can be financially responsible (I was 18). I put more than half of my paychecks in the bank and used what I needed. My parents were very surprised that I was able to keep so much in the bank without already spending it. I surprised myself too. I was so used to spending it on clothes and gadgets. I guess having the account made me aware of all the money I’m able to save, where as, it was easier to waste it when I had it in my hands. Plus my bank card allowed me to only use it only eleven times a month and if I go over there was a fifteen dollar penalty. This kept me in check and I didn’t go crazy swiping my ATM card left and right.
When did you open up your first bank account? Did it make you more financially responsible?I offer many different ways to cam, IM me or go to aprilwood20.com for details! Need Help on CamGirlSpot? Just ask!

I don't know if simply having a bank account makes someone financially responsible, automatically, I but I can certainly see what you are saying about awareness of your money.
I think anyone is this business should at least establish a personal bank account for a number of reasons. One reason being to reduce or eliminate check cashing fees or other fees associate with accessing your money.
